Wild Dogs  are the largest land predator in Australia and are considered apex predators, they can interbreed with domestic dogs and are often seen travelling alone or in small packs throughout the hunting area, You will often hear them howling at night. 

On a few occasions we have seen them chasing wallabies but the majority of the times we run into them is on carcasses or finding them on calves that they have killed.
